Mesoamerican Artifact Found in Georgia

Jackson County Georgia has offered up several artifacts over the past few years that are made from basalt. Basalt has been found in Jackson County the size of boulders in close proximity to several artifacts. This most recent find could possibly be a representation of Xiuhtecuhtli of Aztec mythology. Only time and further research will tell.

The Face in the Water

The large Greenstone mask was discovered recently in the Chestatee River in North Georgia staring up out of the shallow waters. From appearances it could be of Olmec or Toltec origin. Test will have to be performed to determine the source of material.

Venus Orbital Pattern in Mayan Structures Orientation

Caracol Complex in Chichen Itza, Mexico
By Stan Cizek and Jon Haskell
January 7, 2019
It is generally accepted that Mayans built many of their sites and structures with an astronomical orientation. General orientation following East-West, North-South, Solstice and Equinox directions can
be easily recognized. However, there are sites and buildings not exactly following these established cardinal orientation points and there is an ongoing debate why there are so many sites oriented 2 – 19
degrees of the true North.

Ancient China Arrives in the Americas

La Venta Man
By Songnisan Guo (Chairman Peace Media)
American Civilization began about 10,000 years ago and to date has not been discovered no trace of the ape-man on this continent, so it is generally thought that the Native Americans migrated from other continents; around the quaternary and the last period glaciation (10,000 to 40,000 years ago), human groups from Asia crossed the strait frozen Bering Sea in successive migrations to the Americas to hunt animals, then gradually moving southward into Mexico about 21,000 years ago, and South America about 10,000 and 14,000 years ago.

Chinese Sword Discovered in Georgia

Chinese Sword Discovered in Georgia
One of many questions relating to this artifact since it was discovered in mid 2014, is when was it buried. Because it was recovered from the bank of a small creek, it was originally hoped Opitically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) testing would provide a date date when the soil last was exposed to the sun.

Thirteen Baktun:
A Recalculation of the Calender

Thirteen Baktun: A Recalculation of the Calender
by Loren W. Jeffries ©2018
In my book The Sacred Count1, I challenge the whole paradigm of the Maya myth, about 2012 being the end date of the ancient Maya Calendar, by showing how the error in logic and math occurred. I explain how the miscalculation in equivalency dates happened. Because modern scholars thought they understood how the ancient calendar operated, they failed to consider the days thrown out of the Day Count. Let me explain...

The mutilation of Olmec colossal heads was first reported by Robert Stirling in 1940. As mid 20th century investigations progressed, mutilation and gross destruction was found to be prolific on other types of monuments throughout the Gulf coast homeland and extended to monuments at Chalcatzingo in the Central Highlands Region.

Serpent Mound Receives an Ancient Interpretation

Serpent-Mounds-sketch
by CHEN Lung Chuan (Laurent)
There have been numerous studies about the so-called “Serpent Mound” in Ohio State, US. However, in my opinions, this pattern actually illustrates FOUR ancient Chinese characters (Oracle/Bone Characters, “甲骨文”) and needs to be interpreted in a very conventional Chinese approach to appreciate the meaning. And they do have connections to the summer solstice. Hereunder I will explain them in details.

A Philistine - Olmec Connection Discovered in Georgia

Stone Tablets and Oblisks Recently Found in Southern Ohio
The Phoenicians are often credited by most diffusionists for being the first seagoers of Antiquity to have made contact with the Meso-Americans. Although this hypothesis is more than just likely, it now becomes apparent that the Philistines of Tartessos had also made it to the New World."
